I firmly believe that life is built upon a foundation of principles that bring light and joy to yourself and others around you. Those principles reside in my book, “The 5 F’s – how to build a life of faith, family, finance, fitness and fun.”
I am continuously trying to find the right balance in my life and find that when I’m lost in life – 1 of the 5 core principles is lost too. I love the game of life and work hard to create better ways of doing things.
Sometimes I ask myself, “What is his/her life story?” when I meet someone for the first time. It’s fun to get to know my fellow human being family. I focus on individuals – not groups.
I believe that life is too short to be wretched and miserable. I consciously work to surround myself with folks who work hard and play harder!
I’m a follower of the Golden Rule: “Do unto others as you would have others do unto you.” I applaud entrepreneurship and those who stand for making money in meaningful, life beautifying ways. I hate “haters” and can not stand complaining, whining, and pouting. Who wants to listen to a whiner anyway?
While CharlieGold covers a wide range of topics, the bulk of this website’s content falls into 5 core categories:
- Faith – Faith builds character. Growing your level of faith – in God, in yourself, and in others – is essential for a superior life.
- Family – Family can be defined as two or more people who share goals and values and have long-term commitments to one another. Family is everything!
- Finance – What’s more important – love or money? What’s more important – your arm or your leg? Money and financial freedom brings great joy.
- Fitness – Wealth without health is pointless. Take care of your body. Fitness tips abound here.
- Fun – Everything can be made fun – even mundane tasks. Enjoyment, amusement, pleasure and playful activity is MANDATORY for a fulfilling life.
If you want more joy in your life, ask yourself – “How am I doing with my faith?” then ask, “How am I doing with my family?” and continue until you’ve answered all 5 F’s.
