Creating a website header that your readers will love

So, it’s early… I mean, c’mon – I time stamped my 1st post just a couple days ago on January 15, 2019.

I’ve been working to determine and figure out how to create an awesome header for CharlieGold.com.

Here’s how I created the ORIGINAL HEADER of Charlie Gold:

  1. Opened Adobe Photoshop and created an image size of 1200 x 280. (This is the image size for my WordPress Theme – 2016)
  2. Painted the photo black (Hex Color Code: 000000)
  3. Found a type font that I liked – this website uses “Respective
  4. Typed the words Charlie Gold in the middle (Hex Color Code: 77D700) using a poppin’ gold color
  5. Saved the image as a .PNG file

This is what it ended up looking like:

CharlieGold.com

You can create a website header that your readers will love to. Use your imagination.

The key is to find a fluidity and consistency in your header creation so that it flows with the theme of your website.

As time goes on, there’s no doubt in my mind that this header will be changed, but given my time constraints tonight (it’s 11:44 p.m. and way past my bedtime) – I think it will work out just fine.

As I write – you’re going to notice a tie in – whether it’s to Faith, Family, Finance, Fitness or Fun…

Chalk this post into the “fun” category.

I mean c’mon – who doesn’t like to spend an hour trying to create the perfect header?
